Monday 8th August 2011: Over $30,000 Pa’anga worth of Prizes are going up for grabs during this year’s Digicel Stars Season 2 Singing competition.
Prizes include an all expense paid round trip to Tobago & Trinidad, Sponsored by Digicel Tonga. Free Phones, Free Credit and Free T-shirts will also be up for grabs for current contestants, Fans who text in and for fans watching the show.
The first round of competition will be premiering for all to watch on Tuesday 9th of August at the International Dateline Hotel. Amazing new found talents from across the nation are promising signs of a great competition.
Digicel Star Judge Finau Afeaki says “This season takes the show into a whole new level with great stage and lighting for the audiences and the contestants to take part in. This year’s singers showed great talents with the loving support from their families and friends. Overall, this season will surely surpass last season making it bigger and more entertaining for the fans of Tonga to enjoy.”
For the entertainment of the public, Digicel in collaboration with Taimi Media Network televise the auditions on DigiTV channel 2 from 6-7pm every Saturday evening or on Television Tonga at 8pm every Saturday.
