Digicel stars Top 10 revealed
Wednesday 28th September – Nuku’alofa: Digicel Star’s Tuesday night fever at the Janful International Dateline Hotel had fans on the edge of their seats as the Top 10 star’s were revealed.
The competition that has captivated the hearts of Tongans locally and abroad is now inching closer towards a highly anticipated finale. The 10 left standing from last nights show were, Mele Nikua, Kaleti Tongamoa, Andrea Moala, Kesaia Toluta’u, Mary Muimui, Toluta’u sisters from the ladies side and from the gentlemen’s corner, left standing were Filipe Taufo’ou, ‘Epeli Manisela, Fehoko Taufa, Lepa Manu and Sione Tatu.
Amazing performances by all the stars left both fans and judges in confusion as they could not agree on any one person that could be tipped to become 2011’s Digicel Star winner. Last night’s theme was “The Golden oldies” and for the upcoming show, each contestant will perform two songs of their choice from the infamous TV show “Glee”.

It only costs 10cents for fans to vote by texting in the name of their favourite star to 8683, and if you make 3 votes you will receive 10 free votes to vote with.

These young people are all stars in the making, but who will take home the cup? That’s for the people of Tonga to decide.”
