DIGICEL (TONGA) SUPPORTS ATTEMPT TO BREAK WORLD RECORD!

Thursday May 12th 2011: A handful of Digicel (Tonga) staff together with over 400 other Zumba fans sweated for Air NZ’s initiative to break Guinness Book of World Record on the evening of Thursday May 12th, 2011.

Rainbow colors filled Teufaiva Stadium as Zumba teams poured in wearing different colours to represent each of their respective companies as they joined together in an attempt to break Guiness Book of world records “Biggest Zumba Class”.

A turnout of over 480 participants joined the fun at Teufaiva in an attempt to break the current record of 250 participants attending a Zumba class for atleast 30minutes. Air NZ has submitted the attempt to Guiness Book of World Records in London for review, and will announce result in the next coming weeks.

Weekly Zumba classes at 6pm every Thursday in Teufaiva Stadium is proudly sponsored by Air NZ and Digicel Mobile Money and is led by one of Tonga’s best fitness instructors, Dana Stephenson.
