Tuesday 2nd August, 2011: Digicel Stars 2 gets Bigger and Better, with round 1 of the audition process complete, and a record 1000 entries from Tongatapu, Eua, Vava’u and Ha’apai.

Round 2 of the second season opens to the public at the Janful International Dateline Hotel on Tuesday 9th of August. Where the public can watch as the 44 who made the cut from more than 1000 entrants face the now infamous judges.

Jack Bourke, Commercial Manager Digicel Tonga, Joe Mataele, Tonga’s Naomi Campbell, and Finau Afeaki, DJ HotGirl, have clipped and pruned the entrants to create their ultimate 44. And now it is up to Tonga to decide with the popular txt voting already underway.

Digicel Stars 2 in collaboration with Taimi Media Network televise the auditions on Digitv channel 2 from 6-7pm every Saturday evening or on Television Tonga at 8pm every Saturday.

Watch out for the txt codes in your local paper to have your say on who should be the next Digicel Star. For more details, contact Digicel (Tonga) on 123 to talk to one of our Customer Care Team.
