Tuesday 26th April 2011: Digicel (Tonga) shares its commitment to sportsmanship with the young spirits of students present at the Inter-College Sports.

It has been a fantastic start at Teufaiva Stadium with everyone getting ready to support their teammates representing each school on a three day event.  Digicel (Tonga) Management team were amongst the crowd preparing to commence judging the cheering competition from 14 high schools in the Kingdom. Prize packages includes the winner of the Digicel (Tonga)High School Cheering Competition will be awarded with a free internet kindly provided by Digicel(Tonga)staff  followed by second and third prizes  that will be decided by texting. The judging criteria were given to each high school with who will showcase the best innovative presentation for Digicel Mobile Money.

This Digicel Mobile Money has become Digicel (Tonga) first innovative of transforming your mobile phone into an electronic wallet where customers all over Tonga can transfer and deposit money as well as paying their Tonga Power bills.

One lucky high school was made the winner for the cheering competition, Tailulu College was chosen by the Digicel (Tonga) Management team because there cheers were the most informational and educational of the Digicel Mobile Money.

This shows the dedication Digicel (Tonga) has in educating the future generation and considering the increasing popularity of their fantastic products and services.
